One of the most prestigious accolades came in 1889 at the Paris Exposition, where he was awarded the Gold Medal in the collective military exhibition, reflecting his significant contributions to military craftsmanship. This achievement was followed by similar recognition in Batavia (1893) and Chicago (1893), where his work earned him the esteemed title of Chevalier of the Legion of Honor.
